国际旅游与酒店管理系2022级本科生在成都丽思卡尔顿与瑞吉酒店实习期间表现优异

近日,四川大学旅游学院国际旅游与酒店管理系2022级两名本科生在酒店实习期间表现优异,获得了所在酒店的高度认可和荣誉表彰。
在成都丽思卡尔顿礼宾部实习的KENNETH AARWEN HALIM,凭借细致周到的服务赢得了宾客和同事的信赖与认可。2025年9月30日,一位客人不慎将手机遗失在出租车上,非常焦急。KENNETH细心回顾了此前为客人购买熊猫基地门票时留下的信息,并与同事一起迅速梳理线索、联系车辆,最终成功帮助客人找回手机。客人十分感激,不仅亲笔写下感谢信,还主动邀请KENNETH及其他同事合影留念。这一暖心事迹随后被丽思卡尔顿酒店选入内部报道,在品牌内部进行分享。KENNETH在实习中所展现出的责任意识、专业能力与人文关怀,生动诠释了丽思卡尔顿“以绅士淑女的态度为绅士淑女服务”的服务信条,也反映出学院在跨文化背景下培养高端酒店人才的扎实成效。
在成都瑞吉酒店管家部实习的SIRAWEE SUKCHAN,则以热情真挚的服务态度和专业细致的业务能力,给部门领导和客人留下了深刻印象。实习期间,SIRAWEE积极融入团队,认真熟悉瑞吉管家式服务的流程与标准,主动关注客人的个性化需求,在日常接待、客房布置、礼遇安排等细节中不断打磨服务品质。无论是记录长住客人的生活习惯,还是为特殊纪念日设计小惊喜,她都努力做到“想在客人之前,做在客人开口之前”。正是这份责任感与投入度,使SIRAWEE在2025年9月的瑞吉酒店明星员工评选中脱颖而出,获得“明星实习生”殊荣。这一荣誉在酒店内部具有重要示范意义,体现了酒店管理层对她实习表现的充分肯定,也展现出川大学子在高端酒店一线岗位中快速适应、有效沟通与严格执行的能力。
两位同学在国际奢华酒店实习期间的出色表现,是四川大学旅游学院始终践行“以学生为中心、以实践为导向”人才培养模式的生动缩影。国际旅游与酒店管理系在本科教育中,不仅注重学生理论知识和国际视野的夯实,还通过校企合作搭建高质量的实习平台,与成都丽思卡尔顿、成都瑞吉等国际奢华酒店保持紧密合作,助力学生在真实工作场景中锤炼专业技能、提升职业素养。

Outstanding Internship Performance of Students from the Department of International Tourism and Hotel Management Recognized by International Luxury Hotels in Chengdu
Recently, two undergraduates from the Class of 2022 in the Department of International Tourism and Hotel Management at the School of Tourism, Sichuan University, distinguished themselves during their internships at international luxury hotels, receiving high recognition and honorary awards from their host hotels.
During his internship in the Concierge Department at The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu, KENNETH AARWEN HALIM earned the trust and recognition of guests and colleagues through his attentive service. On 30 September 2025, a guest accidentally left her mobile phone in a taxi and became extremely anxious. Drawing on the information he had carefully recorded earlier while assisting the guest in purchasing tickets, KENNETH reviewed the relevant details and worked closely with colleagues to successfully retrieve the phone. Grateful for this help, the guest wrote a handwritten thank-you letter and took the initiative to invite KENNETH and other staff members to take a group photo (please see Figure 1). This heartwarming story was later selected to be featured in an internal newsletter of The Ritz-Carlton. KENNETH’s strong sense of responsibility, professionalism and genuine care for guests vividly embody The Ritz-Carlton’s service philosophy of “We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen,” and also reflect the solid outcomes of the School’s efforts in cultivating high-end hospitality talent with cross-cultural competence.
While interning in the Butler Service team at The St. Regis Chengdu, SIRAWEE SUKCHAN impressed both department leaders and guests with her warm, sincere attitude and highly professional performance. She actively integrated into the team, diligently studied and mastered the procedures and standards of St. Regis butler service, and consistently paid close attention to the personalized needs of different guests. In areas such as daily reception, room preparation and special arrangements, she refined service quality through careful attention to detail. She always strove to anticipate guests’ needs and respond before they even had to ask, including recording the preferences of long-stay guests and designing thoughtful surprises for special occasions. Owing to her dedication and strong sense of responsibility, SIRAWEE stood out in The St. Regis Chengdu’s “Star Employee” selection in September 2025 and was awarded the title of “Star Intern.” This honor carries significant weight within the hotel, signaling the management’s full recognition of her internship performance and highlighting the ability of Sichuan University students to adapt quickly, communicate effectively and uphold service standards in frontline positions at international luxury hotels.
The outstanding performance of these two students during their internships at leading international luxury s is a vivid illustration of the School’s “student-centered and practice-oriented” talent cultivation philosophy. At the undergraduate level, the Department of International Tourism and Hotel Management not only emphasizes a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge and an international perspective, but also works closely with industry partners to build high-quality internship platforms. Through long-term collaborations with hotels such as The Ritz-Carlton and The St. Regis, the School enables students to hone their professional skills and enhance their career competencies in real-world work settings.
