为帮助新生更快、更好地适应校园环境，规划未来学习与生活，2025年9月18日下午，国际旅游与酒店管理系在江安校区文科楼二区206教室为2025级全体新生组织了一场新生座谈会。座谈会由系主任金培老师亲自主持。她向同学们介绍了系所的基本情况，针对学生纪律、科研学习、校园生活和安全管理等方面提出了建议和指导。她强调了诚信、自律、积极参与学术和课外活动的重要性，鼓励学生充分利用四川大学的学术资源和国际化交流环境。

International Tourism and Hospitality Management Department Welcomes Class of 2025 with Opening Ceremony and Orientation Session
The events marked a grand commencement for the new cohort, including a diverse group of international students from the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Management. Hailing from seven countries—Cuba, Indonesia, Russia, Vietnam, South Korea, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan—these students crossed continents to gather at SCU, embarking on a new chapter of their lives within the storied halls of this century-old institution.
President Wang Jinsong, representing the university, extended his warmest welcome and heartfelt congratulations to all new students. In his address, President Wang reflected deeply on SCU’s 120-year legacy of excellence and its enduring commitment to national and societal progress. He elaborated on the mission and responsibilities entrusted to young scholars in the new era, inspiring them to pursue knowledge with courage and purpose. His earnest expectations and thoughtful guidance resonated strongly among the attendees, drawing prolonged and enthusiastic applause.
To further support the new students in adapting to campus life and planning their academic journeys, the Department of International Tourism and Hospitality Management organized a dedicated orientation seminar on the afternoon of September 18. Held in Room 206, Block 2 of the Liberal Arts Building on Jiang’an Campus, the session was chaired by Department Head Jin Pei, who provided a comprehensive introduction to the department’s profile, faculty, and academic vision. During the seminar, Ms. Jin offered practical advice and clear guidance on a range of essential topics, including student discipline, research and study methods, campus life, and safety management. She emphasized the importance of integrity, self-discipline, and active engagement in both academic and extracurricular pursuits, encouraging students to make the most of SCU’s resources and international environment.
